Getting To Know Your Board - Michael Reis

  • Share:
My full name is
…Michael J Reis.

My business has been a Chamber Member for
...27 years.

Along with being on the Chamber Board, I am currently
…a father of three awesome kids and husband to my wonderful wife, Kelly.

If I could change professions, I would
…Be the Goodyear Blimp Captain!

If I were to tell one person "Thank You" for helping me become the person I am today, it would be
… My father, JT Reis.  He has always had a positive outlook and contagious personality.  He has taught me to be polite, respectful and never give up.

Most people don’t know
…I have lived all over the country in Atlanta, Chicago and Madison.

To recharge I
…exercise…run or bike.

The most important lesson I've learned in the last year is
…Don’t give up!

A place I've never been, but would like to travel to the most is
…Alaska

The characteristic I most admire in others is
…Positive outlook

The one thing/person I would want with me if I were stranded on a desert island is
…John Wooden.

I became a Board Member because
…I started attending the breakfast events, other networking events, and volunteered as much as I could. The more I was involved the more I seemed to get out of it.

My favorite part about being a Claremont Chamber Member is
…meeting new people and developing deeper relationships with the ones I already know.

My advice to young entrepreneurs is
… ”Success travels in the company of very hard work.  There is no trick, no easy way.” John Wooden
