The Metro Gold Line was recently extended about 12 miles east from Pasadena to the city of Azusa and is now serving more than 50\,000 riders each weekday. The Foothill Gold Line Construction Authority is the agency responsible for planning\, designing and building the Gold Line. Once completed with construction\, the agency turns the project over to Los Angeles County Metro to operate.\n\n \n\nLos Angeles County Metro has recently decided to place a sales tax measure on the November 2016 ballot to fund more than 100 transportation projects throughout the county over the next four decades.
