Name: Party Parade: A Night at the Museum
Date: March 26, 2017
Time: 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM PDT
Event Description:
This event is sponsored by Claremont Community Foundation.

What, exactly, is a Teaching Museum? To many the word “museum” conjures memories of cold and sterile places where voices are hushed and artworks stand aloof and distant. But modern museums are active and lively places, especially “teaching” museums like the Pomona College Museum of Art. Spend an evening with us as we share what we do: creating exhibitions, teaching through collections, conserving art, and more. A unique and personal behind the- scenes view, and an opportunity to learn what the future PCMA will have to offer. Light refreshments will be served.
