DESCRIPTION:The theme for the 2013 Earth Day is "Reducing our Carbon Footprint\, One Step at a Time." \n\n  \n\nThe goal with the Earth Day Celebration is to increase community awareness of earth-friendly products\, services\, and organizations available to them\, provide hands on learning opportunities\, and bring the entire community together for a fun and meaningful celebration. \n\n \n\nThis year the event is expected to bring more than 2000 people and over 60 exhibitor/vendor booths located along a two-block section of Second Street in the Claremont Village\, Claremont's charming downtown district.  There will be live entertainment\, including bands and speeches by local dignitaries\, art displays\, a community bike ride/walk\, a bicycle "rodeo" and much more.
