DESCRIPTION:Give the gift of food\, clean water\, shelter\, or education to those in need!\n\n\n\nEach year Claremont UCC sponsors the "Alternative Christmas Fair".  During the Fair our Mission Partners staff booths representing their organization inside of our church's Sanctuary. The Fair provides the organizations the opportunity to solicit donations and volunteers to benefit the goals of their organization. It provides members of the congregation and other shoppers  the opportunity to give the gift of goods and services to those in need. Donations may purchase goods such as a case of peanut butter for the Hope Partners food pantry\, a bus pass for a Foothill Aids Project client\, or counseling services for an abused child. Shoppers receive gift cards acknowledging their donation which they may send to family members or friends in lieu of a material Christmas gift.
