Join us for the opening reception on Wednesday\, September 7 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The exhibition\, presented by the City of Claremont in conjunction with the Public Art Committee\, the Claremont Museum of Art\, and Claremont Graduate University Art Business/Art Management Public Art Program\, will be on display at the Alexander Hughes Community Center through November 28. \n\n \n\nThis year's showcase will feature work by artists Carol Abbe\, Johnnie Chatman\, Sumi Foley\, Mary Hughes\, Aleta Jacobson\, Kenneth Johnson\, Jacqueline Legazcue\, Kathleen McCall\, Roz McMillan\, Paul Kittlaus\, Jacqueline Knell\, Jerry Owens\, Elizabeth Preston\, Mervyn Seldon\, Anne Seltzer\, Wendy Smith\, and Jane Park Wells. In addition\, artist Jerry Owens has completed a mural depicting the city's trees in rural and urban scenes in the College Room.
