DESCRIPTION:Claremont Heritage is pleased to present Le Jardin des Arts\, the 2014 Summer Fundraising Fete to be held on Saturday\, June 14\, 2014 in the Garden of the Revelle House\, home to Scripps College President Lori Bettison-Varga.\n\n\n\nThe theme for this year's Gala celebrates the intersection of art and architecture with a French twist! Our cultural heritage is embodied in both the Scripps campus and in the influence that Millard Sheets had on a fledgling Scripps Art Department\, a combination that created an important arts community that exists to this day.\n\n\n\nSip our signature aperitif\, then feast on a sumptuous banquet provided by the chefs of Scripps\; view our extraordinary auction items including many original pieces by well-known Claremont Artistes\; help us recognize Claremont Heritage's Annual Preservation and Cultural Heritage Award Honorees\, Scripps College and sculptor Betty Davenport Ford\; and enjoy the cool breeze of jazz under the stars at this enchanted evening.
