DESCRIPTION:This event is sponsored by Foothill AIDS Project.\n\n\n\nDine Out\, Fight AIDS!\n\nOn Thursday\, April 27th\, over 500 people will "dine out to fight AIDS" across the Inland Empire.  Join them\, because participating restaurants will donate a generous portion of your bill to Foothill AIDS Project (FAP).  Dining Out For Life is the very first dine-out fundraiser of its kind in the U.S.  So far\, it has raised over $4 million for HIV/AIDS service organizations across North America.\n\n For the first time in 2016\, Foothill AIDS Project will be one of this event's beneficiaries to the tune of $20\,000. These funds will help provide FAP's vital support services to those in need. \n\nHow does it work? \n\n Hundreds of people all over the Inland Empire will choose their favorite participating restaurant and dine out on April 27th for breakfast\, lunch and/or dinner. The restaurant will donate a percentage of their bill to FAP to advance the fight against HIV/AIDS. \n\nTo view a full list of participating restaurants\, please click here!\n\nABOUT FOOTHILL AIDS PROJECT:\n\n\n\nEvery year\, Foothill AIDS Project (FAP) delivers care and compassion to over 900 unduplicated individuals living with HIV/AIDS across the Inland Empire.  One-third of our clients are women\, many raising small children. Almost 90 percent of clients live on low fixed incomes\, struggling to house themselves and feed their families. At least 70 percent of clients also cope with other critical health conditions\, such as diabetes\, cancer\, COPD\, hepatitis\, and physical disabilities. \n\nFAP delivers care and compassion\, linking people to HIV treatment\, helping clients stay in treatment\, offering medical case management\, counseling and support groups\, comforting and educating loved ones\, stopping future HIV infections\, and working to ensure our clients and their families enjoy a stable home\, good health\, and positive well-being.
