Frame's solo exhibition at the Huntington in 2011 drew over 30\,000 visitors and 80\,000 attended the same exhibition in Portland in 2012. For the first time in a decade\, the work of this reclusive artist is on public view. Featuring new work from a recent opera production of Faust\, this is a show not to be missed! \n\n\n\nA few comments from recent visitors: \n\n\n\n"Process and Poetry intertwined." - Artist\, Siobhan McClure \n\n\n\n"Wow. We will be back\, once is not enough." - Artist Sumi Foley and musician John York \n\n\n\nThe exhibition presents work by widely-known artist John Frame based on his production designs for the 2018 staging of Gounod's Faust by the Lyric Opera of Chicago and the Portland Opera. It also includes Frame's work on the Academy Award winning short film\, The Swan Girl\, 2016. Both projects relate to the Faust story and have continued to exert a strong influence on Frame's work. \n\n\n\nThe museum is open Friday\, Saturday\, and Sunday\, noon to 4PM\, with evening hours from 6-9PM on Feb. 5\, March 5\, and April 2nd for Art Walk.
