Then she meets the loving and earnest Alfredo Germont.  She tries to create a new life with him\, but she cannot escape her past.  Heroically\, but tragically\, she sacrifices her one chance at happiness.\n\n \n\n Verdi's memorable score positively glows with poignant preludes\, inspired ensembles\, and marvelously crafted duets.
