Financial Aid Workshop - Presented by Mr. Benny Rios
Feeling overwhelmed by the Financial Aid Process? Join us for an informative workshop on how to navigate the financial aid process in general, Examples like the FAFSA application itself and the CSS profile (the College Scholarship Service Profile), What happens after FAFSA and all the documentation that is required to be filled out for each school that you apply to. Learn the ins and outs of federal regulation and how it effects your financial aid, what loans are best to take now, and which are best left for grad school, when to apply your CAL GRANT to your undergrad education, how long financial aid lasts, what to report on your FAFSA and what not to, how living off campus differs from living on campus or at home.
Mr. Benny Rios has over a decade of experience as a Financial Aid Counselor. His tools include: Student loan counseling, academic satisfactory progress, all forms of state and federal aid, the FAFSA application, fin aid documentation requests, as well as extenuating circumstances hindering someone’s ability to receive aid. Mr. Rios has also acquired thorough and extensive knowledge in the admissions process, this includes but is not limited to: application review, admitting students, conditional admits, denial letters, the appeal process, and transfer credits.
