The 39 Steps, a hilarious send up of film noir & Hitchcockian thrillers is a blend of Noel Coward-like wit, theatrical shenanigans à la “The Play That Goes Wrong”, and favorite Vaudevillian comedy tropes. 

Four actors play over 100 characters in the whirlwind action that begins when Richard Hannay’s somewhat dissipated life as a London man-about-town is disrupted by a femme-fatale who quickly proceeds to get murdered in his living room. Hannay becomes the prime suspect and finds himself in the midst of an international web of espionage pursued not only by the police but also by a mysterious organization called The 39 Steps. 

A riotous blend of virtuoso performances and wildly inventive stagecraft, The 39 Steps amounts to an unforgettable evening of pure pleasure in this fast paced, funny theatrical escape for the whole family.
