WHAT: In its continued efforts to educate the community about stroke prevention and treatment, Casa Colina is pleased to host a free community education seminar on Tuesday, May 20 from 6 to 8 pm at its Pomona Campus.
Topics of discussion include signs and symptoms of stroke; who is at risk; stroke prevention; advances in medical treatment; new methods and effects of rehabilitation after a stroke, and more. A question and answer session will follow the presentation.
Guest speakers include Rami Apelian, M.D., board-certified neurologist, and Demha Hoang, M.D., board-certified physiatrist. Both are members of Casa Colina Hospital’s Medical Staff.
