Pros & Cons of the Ballot Propositions: The Fall Opening Meeting of the League of Women Voters on Saturday, September 22 will feature the presentation of the eleven (11) propositions on the November
Election Ballot. Factors for and against will be presented. The local League Election Campaign, “Voting is Your Voice”, designed to encourage and support people to carry out their voting rights will be introduced to the members and the public. The Ruth Ordway Award for Community Service will be presented. The meeting is from 10 to 12 N. in the Padua Room of the Hughes Center at 1700 N. Danbury Road, Claremont. Light refreshments will be served at 9:30 AM.
