Searching for a funny, entertaining, and budget-friendly way to celebrate your child’s birthday?  Look no further than Flappers Comedy Club and Restaurant in CLAREMONT, where nationally-renowned children’s entertainers perform in the one-of-a-kind “Two Milk Minimum” Family-Friendly Comedy Show every Sunday at 4:30pm, tickets only $10.  This is a high-entertainment, low cost way to celebrate your child’s birthday: our dedicated staff will not only offer food from our contemporary American menu (including $5 kids menu), but they will also set up your party decorations, serve one of our many delicious cakes, and/or help you cut and serve a cake of your own (no “cake-corkage fee”).  Sit back, relax, and let us do the clean-up! 
 
The 60-minute comedy/variety hybrid features a rotating cast of outlandish, zany, and amazing comedic magicians, jugglers, musicians, improv artists, puppeteers, and novelty acts, including Joseph Tran (The Magic Castle), Corey Edwards (Hoodwinked!), Dee Bradley Baker (SpongeBob Squarepants) and performers seen on Nickelodeon, the Disney Channel, and Cartoon Network. 


Resident host Michael Rayner performs locally with top comics Patton Oswalt, Margaret Cho, Jimmy Dore and Frank Conniff in Cartoon Dump, and is one of the top booked acts in both the Inland Empire and Los Angeles County Library Systems. He frequently pops up in TV commercials.  He played a hapless gas station attendant who tries to take a photo of Elvis in an Energizer battery commercial and has appeared with Ringo Star, Jane Seymour, Neil Patrick Harris and Anthony Quinnpromoting other worthwhile products.   Maybe his proudest achievement was having the pre-dead Frank Sinatra personally approve him to promote his compilation CD for a Capitol Records commercial.  When not performing, Michael has written for E! Entertainment, the Gameshow Network, Nickelodeon, Backstage West, Modest Proposal and the Spark Factory.  He’s married to Moira Quirk and has two little girls who all help him dress.



The show’s combination of spectacle and wit serves as a magical introduction to live theatre for kids and a sophisticated and enjoyable entertainment for adults.
