Chairman's Circle Spotlight: Claremont Lincoln University
Thursday, June 29, 2017

Currently, CLU offers several career-enhancing masters of arts degrees including Ethical Leadership, Interfaith Action, Social Impact, and in the Fall of 2017 (pending WSCUC approvals) we will begin to offer new M.A. degrees in Healthcare Leadership, Human Resource Leadership, and Civic Leadership. Claremont Lincoln’s programs are “Online by Design” created specifically for working professionals with busy lifestyles and career commitments. We believe the online format gives students a rich and dynamic collaborative learning environment where they can dialogue with classmates more effectively and engage with learning on their schedule.

Our online teaching models are not only convenient but affordable to students throughout the U.S. and abroad. A diverse, international cohort enriches the educational experience, and twice a year in-person gatherings offer optional opportunities for further engagement, networking and collaboration. By the end of the master’s coursework at CLU, students articulate and apply a change management program they can use to facilitate positive change in any context. The Capstone Action Project requires students to facilitate a change management project that includes mindfulness, dialogue, and collaboration with stakeholders to promote positive change.

CLU's mission strives to embody and teach the Golden Rule, to be a place where students learn how to treat others as they would like to be treated. And, our vision is to create a world in which disputes between those that have conflicting views or opinions are addressed peacefully without violence or aggression.
