February's Business Over Breakfast
February's Business Over Breakfast

February’s Business Over Breakfast was an exciting and well-attended event, featuring Matt Zertuche from Paymintz Processing and Payroll as the speaker and sponsor. Matt delivered an engaging and lively presentation on streamlining business operations, keeping the audience entertained while providing valuable insights.
The event was also a special moment for the Claremont Chamber of Commerce, as it officially introduced Kathleen Fariss as the Chamber’s new CEO. Kathleen expressed her excitement about returning to the Claremont community, shared her appreciation for its leaders and members, and spoke passionately about the Chamber’s role in creating new opportunities to benefit local businesses and the broader community.
Adding to the significance of this Business Over Breakfast, the City Manager, Assistant City Manager, and the elected officials of Claremont were in attendance, including City Councilmembers Ed Reece, Sal Medina, Jennifer Stark, and Claremont’s Mayor Corey Calaycay. Additionally, Carlos Arce, the district representative for State Senator Sasha Renée Pérez, joined the event, reinforcing the strong connection between the Chamber, local, and state government.
The Chamber’s Membership Drive was in full swing, creating an extra layer of excitement! Prospective Members had the chance to spin and win a variety of gift cards from businesses in the Claremont community, including Claremont Chamber Gift Cards, which are available for purchase at the Chamber office, 205 N Yale Ave. As an additional benefit, Chamber Members who brought a Prospective Member guest were able to have their guest attend for free (courtesy of the Chamber), provided they RSVP’d in advance.
With March being the final month of the 2025 Membership Drive, this is the last chance for members to be entered into the drawing for a free Chamber Membership for an entire year! To qualify, members simply need to bring in a guest who joins the Chamber before the drive ends.
This month’s Business Over Breakfast was truly a morning of connections, community, and opportunities! Make sure to RSVP for March's Business Over Breakfast!
