Matt Reynoso was born in Claremont, California and has lived in Claremont his whole life. He went to Chaparral Elementary, El Roble, and Claremont High School. He played 3 years of Baseball at Claremont High School, 2 years at Citrus College, and 2 years at Cal Poly Pomona while getting his degree in Business Finance. He did not make the Freshman Baseball Team at
Claremont High School, but he finished his baseball career at Cal Poly Pomona playing with a team that competed in back-to-back Division II College World Series and finished 3rd in the nation both years.During his senior year of college at Cal Poly Pomona, Matt did a Financial Analysis Project on Credit Card Processing companies. After diving into the financials of the credit card processing companies, Heartland stood out to him in their financial accomplishments, vision and mission to bring transparency back to an industry that had none. This project taught him a lot about the industry and led to Matt making the decision to represent Heartland Payment Systems.
Transparency, honesty, and integrity were foundations that he was raised on and Matt wanted to be a part of Heartland’s core mission to bring this back to the community he has continued to love and live in.
