Rolondo Talbott Bio
Rolondo Talbott is the Senior Director of Project Management for Pomona College where he leads all technology-related projects for the College. He also serves as the coordinator of the Technology Student Worker Program, is a member of the Pomona College President’s Advisory Council on Diversity, and a member of the Pomona College Strategic Planning Committee. Prior to that role, Rolondo worked for COMCAST NBCUniversal as a Senior Marketing Project Manager, working on blockbuster movies, award-winning television shows, and even the Olympics.
He is also a third-generation United States Air Force Officer and decorated disabled veteran, having served as a Combat Intelligence Officer during Operation Joint Forge (Bosnia), Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan), and Operation Iraqi Freedom (Iraq), as well as being stationed at bases all over the world.
Rolondo has been a Claremont resident for the past 6 years and enjoys all that Claremont has to offer with his wife, an attorney who also has an office in Claremont specializing in estate planning and family law mediation and his two children that attend Claremont public schools.
In his “free” time, Rolondo has written and published articles on a variety of subjects, ranging from parenting to management topics, and he is also an aspiring Children’s Book Author, writing stories for children of various cultures and ethnicities, and is a board member of the Claremont Education Foundation (CEF). Rolondo also serves as a board member of SoBear, LLC, a company whose mission is to make drug and alcohol rehabilitation more affordable and accessible to underserved communities, and through his company, TACTICAL Career Coaching (www.tacticalcareercoaching.com), provides coaching to those new the workforce, experienced individuals, and to military members transferring from active duty.
Rolondo received a Bachelors of Arts Degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and attended both Air Force Officer Intelligence Training and the Air War College of the United States. The eldest son of a 35-year retired Police Officer, Rolondo brings his personal knowledge, experience, and passion for service, to the Police Commission to serve the great city of Claremont.
