Description
Join CHERP Locally Grown Power (CLGP) on Friday, October 11, 2019 from 5:30-7:30pm at the Sontag Greek Theater, Pomona College, to celebrate our and Assemblyman Chris Holden receiving a $2.1 million budget allocation from the state of California, and the launch of our work on the first non-profit solar panel assembly factory in the world, a first-of-its-kind initiative that will change the way solar energy is delivered at the community level.
There will be free tacos, beer, and wine, music by Small Town Magic, and a silent auction. Emily Moultrie from Claremont Craft Ales will be our MC for the night.
The event is open to all. We hope to see you there!
Please RSVP at info@cherp.net so we can be sure to have enough food for everyone.
CLGP's factory will produce patented-technology solar panels for low-to-moderate income (LMI) households at little to no cost, employ more than 200 local residents, and help the cities of Claremont and Pomona significantly reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
