StART It Up! Celebrates Project ARTstART’s Eleventh Year at the Claremont Lewis Museum of Art
Student artwork from grades 4, 5 and 6 at Mountain View, Oakmont, Sumner, Sycamore and Vista del Valle elementary schools will be on display at the Claremont Lewis Museum of Art from May 6 through May 15 with free admission. StART It Up!, an overview exhibition planned, curated and installed by Project ARTstART high school students, will include works on paper, collage, sculptures, and paintings. This is the culmination of the Claremont Lewis Museum of Art’s signature art education program celebrating its eleventh year.
Student artwork from grades 4, 5 and 6 at Mountain View, Oakmont, Sumner, Sycamore and Vista del Valle elementary schools will be on display at the Claremont Lewis Museum of Art from May 6 through May 15 with free admission. StART It Up!, an overview exhibition planned, curated and installed by Project ARTstART high school students, will include works on paper, collage, sculptures, and paintings. This is the culmination of the Claremont Lewis Museum of Art’s signature art education program celebrating its eleventh year.
May 6-8 and May 13-15 StART It Up! will be open noon to 4:00 p.m. with free admission for two special weekends. The museum is located in the historic Claremont Depot at 200 W. First Street near the Metrolink Station.

Friday, May 6 from 4-5:30 p.m., join our talented high school ARTstARTers in making art on the lawn in front of the museum.
Saturday, May 7, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. the exhibition will be open for Art Walk ARTstARTers will be on hand to tell visitors about their class projects.
Sunday, May 8 bring the whole family to ARTStation for fun art activities led by Project ARTstART students. Visit ARTStation on the first Sunday of every month through the summer and fall.
