Description
What: The University of La Verne Department of Music proudly announces its inaugural week-long piano festival, featuring concerts by prominent classical and jazz piano artists of Southern California. The wide ranging repertoire, from beloved and beautiful standard classics to exciting and adventuresome avant-garde world premieres, will be presented in a series of concerts March 11 through 17 in the splendid environment of the Morgan Auditorium on the University campus.
Musicians performing include University of La Verne Professor of Music Reed Gratz, La Verne Assistant Professor of Music Grace Zhao, La Verne Senior Adjunct Professor Gayle Serdan, La Verne Senior Adjunct Professor Marge Chen, Pomona College Professor of Music Gevevieve Lee, Cal Poly Pomona Associate Professor of Music Nadia Shpachenko, University of Nevada, Las Vegas Assistant Professor Timothy Hoft and Chapman University Adjunct Professor Karen Knecht.
Admission: $10 General Public/Students Free
