Yachty By Nature at Bridges Auditorium

Description

Set sail for a night of smooth grooves, big harmonies, and pure yacht rock fun as Yachty by Nature takes over Bridges Auditorium on October 23.

Since 2016, Southern California’s Yachty by Nature has been bringing the yacht party to audiences across the country with a high-energy, all-live celebration of the smoothest sounds of the late ’70s and early ’80s. From Michael McDonald, Hall & Oates, Boz Scaggs and Steely Dan to Toto, Christopher Cross and more, the six-piece band delivers the songs you know by heart with expert musicianship, infectious energy and plenty of personality.

Led by Scotty McYachty and Julie McCoy on vocals, Yachty by Nature combines soaring harmonies, a locked-in rhythm section, sax, jazz flute and just the right amount of improvisation to bring these classic vinyl favorites to life. No tracks, no shortcuts—just a seriously talented band having a seriously good time.

Whether you grew up with these songs or discovered yacht rock somewhere along the way, this is your chance to grab your crew, put on your captain’s hat and Ride Like the Wind for a night aboard the S.S. Bridges.

Smooth music. Good vibes. Full yacht party.
