44th Village Venture Arts & Crafts Festival
The 44th Annual Village Venture Arts & Crafts Festival will be here at the Claremont Village in no time!
Saturday, October 24, 2026 at 9AM to 5PM in the Claremont Village!
We are grateful for Claremont Graduate University's Drucker School of Management being our Event Sponsor this year to make this event possible!
Village Venture is Claremont's LARGEST community event. In 2025, Claremont Courier reported that we had nearly 23,000 attendees throughout the entire day. It is the chance to showcase our community to surrounding communities, and even people from other states and countries come to our arts & crafts festival. We are grateful to have a Showcase Sponsor, MINI of Ontario, to support us in reaching a further audience so we can showcase Claremont! Village Venture Arts & Crafts Festival is a unique event, because it is a public and free event for the community, free events are rare nowadays. Claremont Chamber of Commerce will always have this event free and open to the public because we want to showcase our beautiful town and its charm to everyone. Community means all people are welcomed, and the arts and crafts is meant for every walk of life to enjoy. We hope you enjoy the walk around the Claremont Village during the event.
If you are new or a returning Village Venture Venturer, we have many activities to do throughout the day!
Join us for the Opening Ceremony at Shelton Park which begins at 9AM. We will be having local dignitaries, the Chamber, and the Chair of the Chamber speaking about Village Venture and the positive impact this tradition has had on the Claremont community in both the commerce and the arts and crafts scene. After the opening ceremony, will be the costume parade line-up!
It is time to brainstorm with friends and family what the group costume will be this year for the costume parade. The costume parade is one of the most beloved tradition of Village Venture, where we invite the public to partake in your costumes and walk the Claremont Village. A new tradition within this tradition is people dressing up their dogs in costumes, and we love to see the creativity of our community! Thank you to The Children's Foundation of America for being our yearly Presenting Parade Sponsor, their generosity helps us continue to this beloved tradition and to add onto it.
This year, the Claremont Chamber of Commerce has been intentional about adding more community arts and crafts in our Arts & Crafts festival. We partnered with Claremont Lewis Museum of Art, our official Arts & Crafts Sponsor, and the artist Cheyne Ellett (if you ever been into Claremont's Philz Coffee, you have seen his artwork on the walls!) is creating an interactive community arts & crafts mural, where we invite the community to co-create with us. When we come together, we create better - whether in commerce, art, or crafts.

Village Venture will have entertainment throughout the day! Claremont Lewis Museum of Art will have the family friendly entertainment area where we will have a variety of performances. At Shelton Park we will be having classic rock cover bands for our Beer & Wine Garden attendees to chill out while they sip on the amazing curation of craft beers and wine.
Village Venture will have top LA food trucks on the 1st Street near College Ave. If you don't want to wait the long lines for the food trucks, there are many amazing local restaurants in and nearby the Claremont Village!
There will be nearly 400 booths of arts and crafts vendors and small local businesses and nonprofits exhibitors throughout the entire Claremont Village. The perfect time to get your holiday shopping for unique and one-of-a-kind gifts for your loved ones! Don't forget to check out what stores are behind the booths, because Claremont Village has local small businesses with beautifully curated collection and selection that can only be found here in Claremont!
