Exciting News: IVHS & SGVHS Are Joining Forces!

We’re excited to share that Inland Valley Humane Society & SPCA (IVHS) and San Gabriel Valley Humane Society (SGVHS) are officially partnering, effective July 1, 2025. With a combined 175 years of animal welfare experience, this collaboration strengthens our shared mission of providing compassionate care for animals in need.

This partnership will allow us to:

• Expand high-quality programs and services
• Enhance veterinary care and pet adoptions
• Strengthen community outreach and education
• Invest in facility improvements for SGVHS

SGVHS will maintain its name and continue serving the communities of San Gabriel, Temple City, and Duarte, while also benefiting from additional resources and support. Both shelters will continue operating as usual throughout the transition, ensuring uninterrupted care for pets and their families.

We look forward to this new chapter and the positive impact it will have on the animals and people we serve.
