Description
A one night performance of the play "Building the Wall" by Robert Schenkkan to raise funds for "Room for All", a project headed by Jed Leano & David Roger to purchase bunk beds & mattresses for 87 people housed in a shelter in Tijuana while awaiting asylum petition hearings.
Featuring opening remarks by Congresswoman, Judy Chu and a brief presentation about the project by Jed Leano.
Reception and Q&A with cast following the performance.
This event is being held as part of Ophelia's Jump "Theatre For Good" program which raises funds for social justice and charitable causes through theatrical performances. Artists on this project are volunteering their work so that all proceeds (net of licensing fees paid to present the piece) can go to "Room For All".
