Claremont Meals on Wheels (CMOW) invites you to become part of a Claremont tradition that embodies the true meaning of community - neighbors from all walks of life coming together, getting to know one another, and working cooperatively to make their community strong and healthy. Our 2nd Annual Party Parade provides hosted events with a variety of themes, food, and entertainment to appeal to every taste. Participants will meet new and interesting folks and share food, fun and friendship while benefitting CMOW.
Dozens of event hosts and sponsors, as well as many community businesses, have generously contributed their time, talent, food and supplies so that all contributions can directly benefit Claremont Meals on Wheels. We hope you will consider attending and please share your invitation with a friend.

Event Lineup
MARDI GRAS PARTY - Saturday, March 1st - 6:30 PM
Everyone loves Fat Tuesday, whether it is called Shrove, Pancake, or Gras. It celebrates indulgence before the abstinence of Lent. Share in the delight, with good company and Anita's Famous Gumbo . . Signature Hurricane Cocktail . . and King's Cake Dessert. As they say in New Or-lins, laissez le bon temps rouler.

POKER NIGHT PARTY - Saturday, March 8th - 6 PM - 9 PM
Reserve tickets now for POKER NIGHT on Saturday, March 8th. Join us for a card-counting, high-bidding, chip-dipping good time. Poker like it should be played . . . for charity. Now is the time to try your hand at chancy skill, beginner's luck or bluffing with a 3 and a 6 in the hole. Tournament-style- no-limit Texas Hold'em is a game for all of the above. BUY-IN is $100 with the option to rebuy. The winners at each table will play for a share of the pot with incentives, treats, and prizes throughout the evening. Ante up for a seat at the table. Swap stories, tell jokes, eat great snacks, and wash them down with a local brew. Seating is limited, so sign up early.

BACK ABBEY - Tuesday, March 11th
Enjoy a meal and/or a beer at The Back Abbey on Tuesday, March 11th. Lively gastropub offers creative burgers & Belgian brews in a rustic dining room or on the patio.

NUNO'S - Wednesday, March 12th - 5 PM - 9 PM
Need a date night? Tapas, Seafood, Paellas, Cold Plates, Pizza, Meats and signature cocktails, need more be said. The reviews are excellent and you just may need to make reservations. They are located in Upland.

COCKTAIL CLASS PARTY- Thursday, March 13TH - 7 PM
At Evolve Distilling, come join us and the creators of the "Best Cocktails in Claremont" to learn how to make famous Irish cocktails . . . and enjoy them. Impress your friends and family with new skills for the St. Patrick's Day weekend.

EL RANCHERO RESTAURANT - Friday, March 14th - 4 PM - 10 PM
Owner, José Haro welcomes you to participate in helping CMOW. By going to El Ranchero in Claremont, on the 14th, he will generously donate a large percentage of sales to us and all you need to do is go on the date above during the hours of 4 - 10 and enjoy one their exquisite variety of signature hand crafted margaritas. Their flavors range from our most popular Mango Margarita to the classic Traditional Margarita. Visit them and pair one of their delicious margaritas with your favorite authentic Mexican dish.

Claremont Village Eatery - Tuesday, March 18th - 7 AM - 2 PM
Start the morning off right, with a Baldy Breakfast, a Protein Bowl or French Toast, coffee or fresh squeezed orange juice. Their menu has something for almost everyone, even gluten free items.

UNION ON YALE - Tuesday, March 18TH - 11:30 AM - 10 PM
Enjoy a meal at Union on Yale on Tuesday, March 18th. Their outdoor dining arrangements are so Claremont, you can watch the people walk by and get some fresh air.

BERT & ROCKY'S - Wednesday, March 19th - NOON - 9 PM
Here's the scoop . . . How about a delicious chocolate or strawberry shake, caramel apple, brownie, candy, a sampler bowl or some candy? You can go any time on the 19th.

EURO CAFÉ - Thursday, March 20th - 7:30 AM - 3 PM
Plan on having breakfast or lunch here and enjoy a delicious assortment of menu items like no other in Claremont. Enjoy homemade soups, salad or a favorite special Bife Portuguesa! Did you say dessert, you can eat it first here, they are absolutely wonderful!

BUNCO NIGHT PARTY - Friday, March 21st - 6:30 PM
Whether it's your first time out or you're a seasoned player, the fun is in the playing! You'll love this opportunity to enjoy an evening of this most popular, mindless dice game. Come make new friends, reunite with old, laugh, drink, enjoy yummy snacks, win terrific prizes, and experience the thrill of yelling, "Bunco!"

GARDEN PILATES & HEALTHY SNACKS - Saturday, March 22nd - 10:00 AM
Join Personal Trainer Stephanie Frescas for an exhilarating morning of physical exercise, good company, and healthy eating tips and snacks. Bring a pilates mat and a towel or borrow a chair from the host if you need a modified option and connect with Nature. Enjoy the spirir of namaste. Beginners welcome.

LOW COUNTRY FEAST - Saturday, March 22nd - 7:00 PM
Can you imagine eating a gourmet meal in an intimate setting, prepared by someone other than you? Well, you don't have to. A Low Country, New Orleans feast is waiting for you. This regional meal, cooked to perfection, will also include an aperitif, a signature cocktail, and a delicious dessert.

Claremont Meals on Wheels utilizes caring volunteers to deliver hot lunches and promote social wellness for older adults and people who are disabled or chronically ill, so that they can live with dignity in the comfort of their own homes.
