Dr Zachary Courser, Research Director of the Dreier Roundtable at Claremont McKenna Callege will be our speaker on “Election 2016: Will Washington Work Now?” for this “Food for Thought” public meeting, sponsored by the Claremont Area League of Women Voters.
Dr. Courser has taught political science courses at several universities including Sciences Po Lyon in France. He has published articles on political parties and democratic participation, and is a contributor and editor of the forthcoming volume, Parchment Barriers: Political Polarization and the Limits of Constitutional Order. He has experience working in Washington, DC on Capitol Hill. He is a regular political commentator on NPR affiliate KPCC’s Air Talk program in Los Angeles.
This meeting will be held on Sunday, November 13 from 2 to 4 PM in the Padua Room at Hughes Center, 1700 Danbury Ave., Claremont. The cost will be $35.00 for early sign-ups and $45.00 for last minute and ‘at the door’ sign-ups. Sign-up will be at Even Bright.
